Naturally.
This project called Naturally is one full of plants, fungi, flowers and berries.
With these things, the goal was to make a series of three unique looking but consistent looking images.
Only using these natural components, typography, and composition was a challenge, but it was also very interesting.

We had to go into the forest to take a lot of pictures and collect natural materials.
The pictures seen above were some of my favourites, and inspired me a lot later on in the project.
Studies.
With my collected materials I went ahead and made some very interesting studies, it taught me a lot about texture and shapes, and that colors also have a big role in how you look at something.
I continued experimenting on Adobe Photoshop, I found this to be very fun and it helped me learn more about the program. A lot of the things I used to create these images I had never even seen before.
Final Result.
After thinking and brainstorming for a while I decided to make Goth inspired album covers.
I made up the band Fatal Felines and their new album The Witching Hour for this.
I think they came out really nice. I love the cat-ghost design I came up with and I'm very proud of my work.

Helvetica.
To practice with typography we did this exercise with the font Helvetica.
Using this font we tried to make posters with exclusively text in this specific font.
You were allowed to use the colors red, white and black, you could change the shapes, and make different shapes with letters, but you couldn't use anything else. I think this was a really fun exercise that challenged us to be creative in a different way and it taught me a lot about typography.

Reflection.
Working on this project has been really fun for me. I loved doing things i hadn't previously done. Experimenting with colors, text and programs was super fun and taught me a lot.
While this project was going on I got really sick, and barely had anything explained to me because I wasn't present in classes. Even though this happened I still managed to make a product I'm very proud of. I hope to be able to do more exercises like this in the future.
